A collection of fragmented existences #3

It's everything and nothing it's a cataclysmic visual posthuman allegory. In technological ecstasy, man becomes one more entity that is part of a network and without any special singularity or key role to modify the arrowhead of cosmic evolution, a melancholy existentialist cybernetic journey.

Biography

Luis Ponce is a Mexican self-taught visual artist based in Montreal. His academic training includes a degree in Graphic Design and attending engraving, illustration, and oil painting workshops at the old academy of San Carlos, UNAM, Mexico City. As a current of thought, Cybernetic Existentialism, Posthumanism, and crypto-culture permeate all of his present-day work. Luis Ponce's creations can be described as a wandering journey through an uncanny valley of deconstructed human beings, loops that are hyperactive yet work in chaotic perfection, shaping landscapes of strange geometric psychedelic sci-fi aesthetics that are filled with vibrant raw strobe light energy that acts as a vehicle for shamanic exploration transforming our perception of the mundane.
