As the sun sets along the Canal, a lone gondolier basks in its last light. For him, this is the end of a long day’s work. Through my eyes, he’s part of a grander scene - one that quintessentially showcases an historical city suspended in time.

Throughout his career, Michael has focused on marrying his two biggest passions in life, travel and photography. He has a tremendous respect for capturing the essence of each destination and with the use of advanced post-processing techniques, he is able to envelope his viewers in the simple, everyday moments often not captured on camera. His ability to trigger an emotional response has led him to work with some of the largest tourism boards and marquee brands throughout the world.
